A cost-effective wireless location and monitoring solution that can help address your asset management and environmental sustainability challenges.
Tagscout is a versatile location tracking and monitoring solution configurable to your business needs. It allows you define your own rules based on the movement of tagged assets, helping you to find things quickly and alerting you to potential problems, such as, assets leaving a designated area. It works indoors or outdoors using either RTLS or GPS location data.
Tagscout can also collect sensor data more generally as part of your smart building and environmental sustainability strategy, such as monitoring temperature, air quality, power consumption, occupancy and many other variables over time.
Tag and monitor anything that’s important to your business and define your own rules and alerts.
Reasons to use asset tracking for your business

Will Tagscout benefit my business?
Yes, we’ll work with you to make sure it does. You tell us what you would like to track, monitor or measure and we’ll agree some basic day-one deliverables and help you get started. Once you’re comfortable with the technology, you may think of other ways Tagscout could be beneficial.
Here are some sector-specific examples of how Tagscout can help in different sectors.
Warehousing and Logistics
Improve efficiency by tracking tools, portable equipment, raw materials or finished goods, and/or attaching sensors to spaces or things you want to monitor.
KEY BENEFITS
Health and Social Care
In a healthcare setting keeping track of valuable equipment can be a real pain, with staff time spent searching instead of caring for patients.
EXAMPLES
Manufacturing
Improve efficiency by tracking tools, portable equipment, raw materials or finished goods, and/or attaching sensors to spaces or things you want to monitor.
EXAMPLES
Tourism and Hospitality
Engage more effectively with your guests and manage flow to ensure successful visitor outcomes and encourage positive reviews.
EXAMPLES
How does Tagscout work?
Tagscout collects positioning and sensor data from tags attached to your assets and feeds it in to an easy-to-use dashboard, where you can view the assets on a map and configure your own rules and alerts. Assets can be things, or people, or even spaces, whatever you need to monitor.
Tags
Tagscout uses low-power, battery-powered tags, which come in a range of form-factors, including sealed-for-life options suitable for outdoor or hazardous environments, and wearables suitable for worker safety or social care applications. Battery life is 3 to 10 years depending on the type of tag.
Anchors
For indoor projects, where GPS is unreliable, the tag’s position is calculated relative to fixed anchors which build their own routed wireless network. It does not rely on existing Wi-Fi. Anchors are battery-powered so they can be deployed easily with no cabling and minimal fixed infrastructure.
Sensors
Sensors are tags or anchors with the capability to collect other data, such as temperature, vibration, power usage, etc. Sensors transmit at regular user-definable intervals to form a continuous data record over time. You can set rules and alerts if the sensor reading exceeds your pre-defined limits.
Gateways
Gateways send the tag and sensor data securely to the Tagscout Control Centre. They are typically the only part of the solution that needs mains power and network/internet connectivity.
Tagscout Control Centre
Allows you to visualise your tag and sensor data, define your own rules and alerts, and view and action any current alerts via an intuitive, easy-to-use dashboard.
